Choosing a grade: the short version

Four grades cover most of what customers ask for. The full guides are on the Persian site.

Everyday grade

304

The base austenitic grade: good general corrosion resistance, forming and welding. Food equipment, industrial kitchens, process tanks and interior architecture where there is no chloride. Works continuously up to 925 °C.

Chloride and salt

316 and 316L

Molybdenum adds resistance to chloride and pitting: marine splash zones, chemical and pharmaceutical plant, salt or acid. The temperature ceiling is the same as 304. Choose the L version when the part is welded heavily.

Long service at heat

321

The stabilised grade, for parts that work continuously in the 425–870 °C range, where ordinary 304 can become sensitised.

Highest temperature

310S

The highest working temperature in the 300 series: 1150 °C continuous, 1035 °C intermittent. Low carbon keeps it weldable. Used for muffles and furnace parts.

How to enquire

A call or a WhatsApp message is enough. Three things get you the fastest answer.

1

What you need

Grade, form, size and thickness (for pipe, the nominal size and schedule), and the quantity.

2

What it does

Tell us if the part is welded, what it touches (chloride, salt, acid) and the highest working temperature.

3

What you get

A quick answer on availability, price per kilogram in Toman and delivery time. For most main-tier grades, within minutes during working hours.

Questions we are asked

Certificates

Do you provide mill certificates?

Yes. Every order comes with the mill certificate, in any grade and any quantity. It shows the standard the material was made to and its chemical analysis.

Origin

Where does your steel come from?

Mainly mills in China and India, through our own stock and imports and through direct access to the bazaar’s supplier network.

Stock

Is everything in stock?

No. Part of the range is in our own stock; other sizes and grades are supplied through the bazaar network. Duplex, super duplex and PH grades are supplied to order, and we say so at the start of the conversation.

Price

How much does it cost?

Prices move with the nickel price and the exchange rate, so we quote per kilogram, in Toman, on request. There is no published price list.

Choosing

304 or 316?

Choose 316 when there is chloride, salt or a marine environment. Without those, 304 is usually enough and more economical. 316 does not raise the temperature limit.

Tools

Do you have a weight calculator?

Yes: sheet, pipe by schedule and round bar. The calculator page is in Persian.
